Hmmm, I read biweekly as fortnightly, cos that's how we use it here... but the OP does say twice a week. I'm confused.

Is that rent $650 down to $400 a fortnight or a month or what? what's the standard measure for the US folk?

If this was a sheer pay-to-play thing, you'd be right, but it seems that they have some kind of "relationship". Maybe it's just a quasi booty-call/girlfriend, help out with the rent thing.

That was my call on it, too. It's a lot different offering oral service to someone you know, even a little bit, to offering it to strangers on the street.
