i've put it to a few peeps, and on a forum designed to tackle these sort of probs. my eyeballs are falling out. 2nd hand pc... ,updated drivers, it won't restore back past aug27, and no spyware stuff i have is sorting it... wondering if this is the time to loaod ubuntu! or would the probs migrate?

always. i have one teen at home and a second round here more often than not. strange things happen all the time, like things getting mysteriously broken though nobody knows how... empty food containers left in the fridge, though they don't know who ate/drank the last of them... yeah, it's a regular house of the paranormal here
