So now you're a socialist? The solution is very simple. Put the country back to work as happened in World War 2.
Obama coulda invested serious money in alternative energy techology creation; he coulda sent every kid in America to college or tech school; he coulda created no interest loans to help people keep their homes and cars; he coulda replaced every high mileage police car, ambulance, and fire truck in America; and what he did was fund a few part-time census workers. He pissed away a golden opportunity to do great deeds.
So now you're a socialist?
And I'm not Shamu cuz I bathe every Saturday night. Or Rip van Winkle cuz I sleep every night.
I can only shudder at the thought of how much worse it would be if the Republicans, who got us into this mess and were so ineptly working it into the ground, had retained the administration. So, no, relatively speaking, I haven't had enough of Obamanomics yet.
Not responsive to the question. Just another inept slide away from being cornered.![]()
Come up with better analogies.

EVEN THE DEMOCRATS ARE PISSED.
Although they haven't officially declared it yet, data points to the recession having ended in mid-2009. That would still make it the worst since the early 1930s.The republicans have been out of power for about eighteen months. The average recession lasted ten months. The longest previous recession lasted sixteen months.
I agree the recession started with the republicans, but it should have ended by now.

All the bad news can turn on a dime. The president (not this one), only has to make a policy speech that will favor low, low taxes all around. The next president will probably do so.
The current president's policy is to do everything possible to destroy the US economy. He is simply carrying out his marching orders.

The average recession lasts two and a half years, what kind of bullshit have you been smoking? Try turning off Cluster FUX and reading something substantive.....think for a change.....
don't strain yerself..........................
.....think for a change.....
don't strain yerself..........................

Where on Earth did you get that time period?According to the NBER, the contraction part of the business cycle has lasted an average of ten months over the last 65 years. http://www.nber.org/cycles.html
Get some real data not that crap sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.....they'd like YOU to believe everything they spew....you obviously do.....when you read the data, count the months, don't take their word for it.....
Achievement is much more satisfying if you do it yourself.........................

xccsve asked a pertinent question, are you advocating socialism?
Using the economic realities from the 1940's is a poor excuse for a viable economic system. Granted, the government funded and managed the Manhattan Project and corrupted the scientific journey into the peaceful use of Nuclear Energy to create a weapon.
Many may not realize how close the Axis Powers came to world domination. But for the fluke of a victory at Midway, America would have been unable to defend the entire west coast of Canada and the US. Were it not for the improbable victory of the British Air Force, Germany would have invaded England and America would have been in an unsustainable vice between two war fronts.
Obama has invested billions in alternative energy projects, the sum total of which, might, at the most generous estimate, contribute 15% of the required energy for the nation.
It was government housing policy that destroyed the market place and you call for more insane intervention in the market place? Ah, you just wanted to get a rise out of me...well...you did.
General Motors, of which the American people own 61% of the company, thanks to the Bailout, is foisting off the Chevy Volt to do exactly as you suggested, subsidizing an untested technology that is mainly outsourced to China. An electric car that can go an astounding 40 miles before the $7,000 battery is drained dry. Gimme a fucking break!
Government is the problem, JBJ, not the solution; and you should know that.
