This thread is about the goriest movie ever made. Don't read if you're sensitive!

Has anybody seen this? I don't know if anybody on here is a major horror fan, but I have been reading a lot about this lately. It's reportedly even worse than Cannibal Holocaust, so I don't think I'll be seeing it. But it is a film that meshes sex with violence inextricably. It has also been likened to Irreversible; we've all seen that tunnel rape scene, right?

One scene that I have heard described is a man pulling out a woman's teeth with pliers, and then face-fucking her with his massive tool until she chokes to death on his cock and her own blood.

So...thoughts? (There are lots of reviews out there, feel free to google.)

There is actually a movie showing somewhere that has this scene in it? I hope it doesn't actually show it, and it's only acting...right? Tell me it's not a documentary.

I'm into spanking and whipping scenes, bondage included in these scenes is cool, and I enjoy specific kinds of electroplay. Knowing that I enjoy anal sex could help you understand what I'm specifically excited by in electroplay. But, this movie doesn't sound like my kind of thing. No, I think I'll feel free NOT to google.

Call me wimpy? I'm fine with that. I guess I'm not much into that reality, in your face kind of thing. I'm repulsed by blood, death and any sort of pain associated with teeth.

"Showing" is not the right word for it, I think. It has popped up at a couple of film festivals and can be nabbed off the Internet. I believe Germany has already banned it, and it will never see US release without some serious editing.

But yes, it's 100% fictional. Everything is created through special effects and - like most good horror films - the worst stuff is only implied, not shown. (This includes the baby rape, which is the most notorious scene of the film.)

I added a disclaimer to this thread because it occurs to me that reading about it might be too much for some people. And yet...I think there are people - perhaps none on Lit, but there are people - who get off on this kind of thing, or at least the idea of it.

The baby rape, for example, reminds me of threads about impregnation and grooming of offspring. Obviously it's 100% fantasy, but people do have those fantasies.

I googled. I wish I hadn't. There's much worse in it than the choking to death scene.

I haven't seen Cannibal Holocaust or Irreversible, and have no desire to. Ditto the Serbian Film. Saw scared me. Wolf Creek scared me, and that didn't even have much gore in it

I don't know if the disclaimer is necessary, but it doesn't hurt. LOL.

I thought it was a new movie showing in theaters and was wondering if it would ever make it to the U.S. without some serious cutting. I don't believe in cutting up a movie so the masses can see it. I know I won't ever want to see this one, but I agree there are some who will.

Something about those Serbian people and graphic films.

Sbit, I'm tempted to Google, but I'm already bothered enough by last night's 'BDSM Club party in the Cube' dream.

Ugh.

I don't need anymore disturbed sleep. So I might look another day.

Really, the goriest, I’m almost certain I have seen way, way more gory.

Eventually all effects just look the same. Sometimes something new catches you off guard, but the freakiest stuff is the stuff you just simply don’t understand, the stuff that makes your imagination take over. The best horror films just plant the seed, like jaws, and the people scare themselves, avoiding the water. Considering that, the best horror should actually be thought provoking and realistic to personal life, not a splatter film. What is this gonna do, make me afraid of porn? Good luck with that one.

I’ve always wondered, why they don’t do the bystander effect. Someone getting brutally raped imprisoned or whatever, and everyone can help but nobody does. Maybe it’s even possible to work abandonment fear into that, like being left in the situation by someone trusted. And don’t give them any resolution or vengeance, just a pathetic demise. Could have been saved, but nobody would go out of their way.

Or maybe instead of just showing death, show what it means. Set the movie up showing a real person, family, what they do, where they are going, make you really care about them, make you realize what it would mean to everyone they know if they die, and then have them get snuffed out for someones cheap thrill.

Have you seen A Serbian Film? All of the reviews I've read, even from horror/gore fans, indicate that this far surpasses anything they have seen before.

No haven't seen it, just pics and a trailer, so I guess I can't really judge. Just doesn't look all that bad. Maybe cause I've daydreamed the whole teeth pulling, blood gurgling, skull fucking, etc. I guess when it comes to sex I have a very good idea about actual limitations, and pure fantasy.

Sounds like Oldboy or Audition+ 1 gore - 12 idea . And I actually didn't cum in my pants over Oldboy because I generally find this kind of thing just cheap "duh" transgression.

And I still think that "quiche lorraine" is the most depraved act committed to relative mainstream film. This falls safely into the realm of "effects" and those were not raisinettes.

Yeah, I would hesitate to pass judgment without seeing the actual movie. Not even a red-band trailer can show enough to give you an idea of what's really in there. And actually, you've given me an example of why I started the thread: because there are people who think about this stuff in a sexual manner.

I've seen Audition, it didn't faze me too much. The friend I have who has seen both says that Audition was child's play compared to this. I have not seen Oldboy, however.

LOL @ "those were not raisinettes"

You should see the dreams that have be waking up going, ok wtf, why?

For example, non consent on a bed of nails. Forget about details.

the actor in this thing, Srdjan Todorovic, is hysterically funny in Black Cat White Cat, a much different kind of political film.
