Franken put in Office by Felons

The felons who are the subject of the OP were a rather small group, and we can't tell who they voted for. However, the voters who were fraudulently registered by ACORN were mostly Dems, and those who got through the weeding-out process would vote for Dems. The Secretary of State is supposed to prevent this kind of fraud but, if you look at the link I posted, you'll see he is beholden to ACORN and used his position to help his party.

That's why I think the election was tainted - because of the fraud committed by ACORN with the help of their buddy in office. :(

Box, you're wasting you electrons on those two. cloudy is a lost cause and Lipz is just lost in the euphoria of his idol being in office.

Yeah, he's wasted the two he's got and you've wasted the one you've got. I don't know why you bother posting these things here when you know that all it will do is waste your monthly allotment of brain power.

You are probably right, but I hate to see voting fraud accepted so complacently, especially when the persons who accept it claim to have seen it before and railed against it then. :(

I notice nobody has said anything to counter my posts on this thread. Probably because my position is unassailable. :D

Dream on. The only thing you're good at is fooling yourself.

No one tries to discuss anything with you anymore because you never make sense.

Amen to that. Might enjoy talking writing and publishing with either Box or Zeb, but they don't seem to get what this Web site is--no matter how many times they have been told they are shooting themselves in the feet over what they came to this Web site to do in the first place.

Okay, then, does this make sense:

In 2008, ACORN hired people to go out to areas that would be peopled largely by those with Dem leanings and encouraged them to bring back as many filled out voter registration forms as they could. We don't know exactly what the instructions were, but we do know ACORN paid by piece work, and that they sent to the secretary of state, or equivalent office, anything that was brought back, even though many of them were obviously bogus. We don't know if they threw away those that had been prepared to register Reps but, knowing their general dishonesty and lack of ethics, it would be no surprise if they did.

Since this thread is about the election of Al Franken, I will stick to what happened in MN. The secretary of state there owes his position to work ACORN did on his behalf, and he showed himself earlier to be lacking in ethics. How many of the bogus registrations were approved? We don't know that, but I would be willing to bet the mortgage payment that several thousand, at least, were accepted, and that was enough to put the comedian over the top.

I will also concede that nothing can be done about it now, but it still bugs me.

No, it doesn't, but I'm not going to waste my time explaining why it doesn't. Trying to explain anything to you is like trying to teach physics to a frog.

See lost cause...doesn't care, doesn't know, just types bullshit and calls people names...that's all they can do.

Here's someone else who just calls people name although she does so without cussing.

You're nothing but a child, Zeb. A pissed off child because things aren't going your way.

You don't make me angry, just a little sad for you, that's all. You used to be rather well-liked around here. Now, most just ignore you because of your foaming at the mouth - like a two-year-old throwing a fit in the grocery store because he wants some fruity pebbles.

Just a one-trick pony anymore.

It's sad.

I was sure you would be unable to refute what I said, but I thought I would give you a chance anyhow.

Unable and unwilling are two completely different things.

Why should I do your work for you? You would only counter with things like, "I believe" that you somehow think is the same thing as a fact.

I would rather attempt to teach physics to that frog. He has more of a chance of understanding it.

Call it victory if you want, but you're the only one that will see it that way.

No, it does not. Try again.

You pepper your rationalizations with so many pre-suppostions and stereotypes that it's impossible to refute. You already "know" your stereotypes and biases, and the rest of your 'argument' is simply trying to make the facts conform to your notions by using a bunch of other stereotypes and pre-suppostions. You stretch reasoning past the breaking point to find any plausible way to validate your ideas, including fantastical roles played by the boogeyman ACORN and nefarious conspiratorial machinations by any available bureaucrat from the Democratic Party. Then you latch onto that remote plausibility as verifiable truth, just like Zeb did in the opening post.

This isn't professional wrestling, Box. There isn't a roomful of producers who lay out the way the political season is going to go and then try to package and sell that to cable news shows. One side isn't "good" and the other side isn't "evil" - both sides are Americans, although foreign companies and governments certainly try to buy influence.

I haven't seen any felon votes linked to Franken at all on this thread--other than in innuendo. Have I missed some objective fact here? Barring that, this is just Zeb being his usual dishonest self, isn't it?

What rationalizations with so many pre-suppostions and stereotypes do you mean? It's a well-known fact that ACORN submitted about 1.4 million registration forms in 2008, and that a very large number of them were bogus. Some of them were signed by Mickey Mouse or other ficticioius characters, but I believe we can safely make the assumption that some of them looked legit. I have no idea how many of the genuine-appearing forms were phony but got through the vetting process, but it is safe to assume that not all of them were caught.

We can also acccept the proven fact that some ACORN staffers are crooks, because they were videotaped being dishonest. I will concede that some of them are honest and idealistic, but I'm just referring to the others.

It has also been proven that the MN secretary of state, who is supposed to be the one supervising the vetting process is unethical and is beholden to ACORN for helping him get elected. These are facts that were proven in the links I posted earlier.

By the way, I have said many times that I consider all pols to be crooks. I think the Dems are generally more crooked than the Reps, but it's a matter of individuals Some Reps are probably more dishonest than some Dems, but the latter probably have more opportunities because of the big city machines. You can call this a stereotype, if you want, but I clearly say it is my opinion, rather than proven fact.

Box, Box, Box...providing them with proof only inflames their senses. They all know that whatever proof we present is not their truth. According to Huck everything we present here is either debunked (although he has never provided a link to the effect) or just conforms to "our" biased views. We don't see the big picture like they do. We don't realize that the grand plan, which they are only privy to, is so far above our intellectual level as it was handed down from the mount by their lord Obama.

When anyone questions their belief system, they foam at the mouth, yell unseemly epitaphs and deny, deny, deny. Their leader in who they trust just keeps on lying to them and because they are blinded by his lies, they believe every word out of his smarmy mouth. He as told them lies bigger than any "W" did.

WMDs...there weren't any.

ObamaCare will reduce medical costs...not in a million year. Cap and Tax will reduce carbon emissions...not even .0000001%. GM, Chrysler will do better under government control...never. The financial institutes need to be controlled and we "the government" can do the job...hardly. (SS, Medicare, Medicaid are broke...all the money is gone, there isn't enough being taken in to pay benefits)

How many promises must he not keep for them to see past his lying.

I'll bite.:) Your assertion is that felons elected Franken. And your PROOF is . . . ?
No! No! Didn't you hear what he said? Facts will only enflame our senses!

(What does that mean anyway? Am I old enough to know?)

I have to present a picture ID when I vote. The ID is inspected by 3 poll workers and my signature is witnessed by all three.

Do you any well know facts about Mickey Mouse actually voting?

I don't know an actual person named Mickey Mouse, but there could be a surname "Mouse" and somebody whose parents named him "Mickey." I don't know him, but there could be such a person. However, the registration form I referred to with Mickey Mouse's name on it was one that was caught. I don't know how many with names like William Brown and Mary Jones were not caught. Those are examples of names that could have been used by those who who registering fraudulently. ACORN would not have questioned them, nor would the crooked secretary of state in MN.

I'm not going to do it, but I believe it would be fairly simple to register multiple times at different addresses, thereby being assigned that many voting places. I doubt the ACORN employees asked for proof if ID when they registered people. As for the addresses, if they ask, just tell the poll workers you have moved and the ID has your old address.
