Hello,

I'm a big fan of erotic lit, and somewhat of a beggining writer myself.

Just curious what motives you to write the stories you write?

And I don't mean your sexual turn ons and what you like to read. But is it that you enjoy sharing your fantasies, enjoying the writing process itself, or the erotic feeling you get while writing, ect.... ?

cheers

I write lots of things for different audiences. I started posting erotica on Lit in the hope of turning women on.

In the process I found my soulmate. Now I write for her. To show her my love, mostly. But also as a way of lettting her know honestly who I am.

I began writing erotica from sheer boredom with my life at that time and the process has changed my life for the better.

I wasn't finding the stories I wanted to read, so I started writing them. Ironically, none of the stories I have posted on Lit are of the type that I started writing, and am still unsuccessfully searching for all over the net.

I love to read including erotica. I also love to write and have been writing for a very long time. While waiting with my daughter for her shift to end one day, she said something that triggered the idea for an erotic story and I decided why not. Once I got her out of the story (Eeeeewwwwww) It was a lot of fun. So I wrote another. Then another, etc etc. Now if I could just get my wife not to say "eeeewwwwwww"

I was bored in my marriage and with my sex life, but not looking to cheat. I happened to hook up with a female friend on a sports forum, and through private messaging, found out we were in similar boats - stuck with spouses who were not very interest in sex.

She lived on the opposite end of the country, so we were "safe" partners, and before we knew it, we were "sexting" each other pretty hot and heavy.

Like all good things though, this came to an end after a few months, but I found that I REALLY liked writing about my filthy fantasies, and was hooked.

So, since I didn't have my sexting buddy to chat with anymore, I decided to post some of our previous transcripts as stories. People started voting favorably on them, so I started writing new ones, and the rest, as they say, is history!

My mind tells me it's time to sit down and key what's it's ready to spill out--and to make it snappy because there's one coming down the pike right after that.

I used to love to write stories in HS and college. I have been readin on Lit for a few years. I enjoy dirty talk and my husband suggested I put some of it writing, so I did. Now I write because I enjoy it again!

I had read a few stories on Lit, was impressed with the quality of writing and decided to give it a try. I hadn't written fiction since college and I was pleased to see how much I remembered. I write in both erotic and non-erotic genres'because it's fun and I enjoy it. :D

I'm jealous of you guys and girls whose spouse encourage and participate in your erotic endeavors. I think my wife would freak out and threaten divorce if she had a clue what filthy stuff ran through my mind!

I have a Betty Boop pen my grandmother gave to me as a child. When the ink level goes low enough, you can see her boobs.

I was already writing when I met a woman online who mentioned she liked my stories and asked if we could write one together by each person writing some then sending it for the other to continue. After weeks of it flying back and forth, it was finished.
Six years later I still haven't finished editing it...lol

Figured if she liked them, maybe others would also. So I found Lit and submitted a few. Definitely nothing that will go down in history as a great work of literature, but it's mainly about my enjoyment anyway.

I realized I think about sex wayyy too often for a healthy woman my age- one day I just figured 'if I'm going to think about it this often, I'm gonna have to channel those thoughts into something productive.

I wanted to see if I could write something between Harlequin and a letter to Penthouse. I actually work harder on the plot than I do on the scene so I feel good about my progress.

My husband and I have always written fun little stories to each other, and we've both read Literotica off and on over the last few years. He writes and has published some non-erotic material and is working on a large project that will take some time to complete. While he's busy with that, he keeps encouraging me to write something for Lit. I'm working on it, dangit.

I've always written. I found Literotica and enjoyed the plethora of stories on just about any subject. I read most genres, depending on my mood that day. I found the erotic audio stories and was hooked. I corresponded with a favorite audio author and he wrote back. We talked for a while, he convinced me to try an audio story myself and I loved the attention I got. Before long, I had people contacting me, wanting to pay me to create a fantasy for them. So, at this point my motivation is income as well as the attention I get, and being able to live out and explore my fantasies and my sexuality.
