Sam Adams made beer in a trailer?Because he knows the descendants of former slaves won't give him the time of day. Neither will the winners in that particular war. All he has left to pander to is the trailer trash.
Holy fucking shit! This is very, very frightening.![]()
This from the person who got suckered by a fifteen-year-old urban myth? I'm not surprised you'd vote for this guy.I'd vote for him...I don't like some of the new taxes being proposed. Seemed to me the man was encouraging people to go out a vote and be politically active. Oh wait that is a bad thing when conservatives do that right?

That commercial was just fucking goofy and the candidate is a retard.
He might win.
I like what Mark Twain said: "For every problem there's a solution that's neat, obvious, and wrong."
...there is always a well-known solution to every human problem — neat, plausible, and wrong.
"The Divine Afflatus" in New York Evening Mail (16 November 1917); later published in Prejudices: Second Series (1920) and A Mencken Chrestomathy (1949)

But of course. I thought it was quite effective myself. It's not just 'trailer trash' that are disgusted with the way this country's sliding into Socialisim...the entire middle class is fed up...and they pay most of the taxes. Obeyme's New and Improved America will get the heave-ho in the fall, just as he will when his term's up.
The emperor has no clothes and feet of clay. He'll join Ozymandias presently.![]()
See, this is what I was talking about. I can't fathom how anyone with a pulse can think that ad is not utterly embarrassing. But of course. I thought it was quite effective myself.
I can't believe that people are so frightened of their fellow citizens that only the death of said fellow citizens can solve it. Indeed, it seems to me they look forward to those deaths with glee.
Sad to see a great country commit suicide.

And trust me, I'm not talking about the guy's policy opinions. There's some validity to what he's saying if you peel away the hysteria. I'm talking about the tone, the style, the attitude, the production.
It's like a pro wrestling skit between fights.
With what barely passes for a historical theme.
Written by that kid down the street who likes to throw rocks at small mammals and everyone thinks is juuuust a little bit wierd.
Directed by Uwe Boll.
Maybe in your mind.International politics is a lot like pro rassling.

In short, yeah, it is a bad thing when conservatives are politically active, because the only political activity they seem to know how to do is spread lies, myths and falsehoods--and/or vote into office those who spread lies, myths and falsehoods.

This was the Rep. primary election in Alabama's Second District, which includes Montgomery. Enough people voted for Barber to force a runoff against the establishment candidate.
I always thought democracy was a good thing....guess it is hard for liberals to find out that not everyone agrees with them. Must be rather shocking. Either way it turns out I hope people do their research and turn out and vote.
