While I don't agree with scouries' personal invitations, the more entries we have for the National Nude Day Contest, the more interesting the competition will be.

Hundreds of entries would confuse the trolls and make the Authors' Hangout Last Place (tm) Contest a hard-fought one.

Why don't I report it? Why bother? I directed to where the information can be found, Zane Grey. Isn't that enough? Besides, I've reported plenty of shit stories by plenty of people with no avail. What makes you think it will be any different now?

I'm not surprised that someone can just copy and paste stories. Hell, the winner of the Earth Day contest copied and pasted 3,000 words of his 13,000 word story.

Yet, no one reports that, even though it's common knowledge and even though the author even admitted his wrongdoings in the Earth Day thread.

There are those that are allowed to do anything they want and then there are the rest of us, the good people, Me, Scouries, Sarahhh, The Pope, God, President Obama, The First Lady, Enzo Ferrari (God bless his soul), Elvis (may he rest in peace), Pamela Anderson, and Angelina Jolie, just to name a few of my close, very close, personal friends.

Why is it that it’s always freddie who makes the most sense?

I know many of you are happy with the present contest system – that you’re a cozy little group of AHers that are prepared to do just about anything to keep out non AHer authors. Who’ll cheat and lie and copy and paste …

And only a smug self satisfied AHer could claim that encouraging LITEROTICA’S greatest living authors to take part in a contest is an attempt to lessen entries and competition.

I know the moonman of course – from the old days. Before he sold out to the forces of evil. Before he became just another foot soldier of our sneaky pilot. I hadn’t heard before I read freddies post that he was stealing works from Zane Grey. But on reflection it didn’t surprise me – I can remember only so well the day he created an ALT called scouries_ and started to pass himself off as I.

As for the ogman’s comment on my invitations – I’ve been reading his contest threads for over four years (perhaps 25 different threads) and he’s never once invited a famous author to compete. Never once has he remarked on the paucity of LITEROTICA’S FAVORITEST authors.

Only three of the TOP 100 (the wonderful sarahhh, alwayswantedto, and mr heat) contributed in the last contest. Did our royally robed English friend even notice? I think not!

One can’t help but wonder why not. Has the QUEEN traded her endorsement of the thread for his obeisance? Has his once independent voice been muffled by his desire for royal favors?

So what would I like to see? I'd like to see more authors entering stories (one per author).

And I'd like to see many more of the LITEROTICA greats taking the time to submit stories. Rewarding our readers while helping to show the way to our newer and less experienced and less talented confreres.​

You should read some of the things he wrote about me when I first started writing for this site in 2007. He continued his attack in 2008 with the assistance of DanielleKitten.

He's a miserable old man, a liar, and now I find, a plagiarist. Well, there's no surprise there. Once a cad always a cad.

He's reaping what he sowed.

Reading one of his copied and pasted stories is like reading a Zane Grey novel. Good luck to him, if that's all he's capable of doing, putting his name to another's work.

I didn't mean to accuse Og of plagiarism. I called up the wrong quote. Og has never plagiarized anything in his life. Matter of fact, he had to look up to word to see how to correctly spell it.

Og is not a plagiarist. Repeat, Og is not a plagiarist. All of his work is original.

Now, in regards to DK Moon, well, he's the opposite of Og. He's never written an orignal story. All of his material is stolen from other authors. He's even stolen some of my stories.

Miss Muffin, I can’t provide proof of the plagiarizing of Zane Grey. But I can provide proof of an even more evil crime – an attempt to steal someone else’s identity. An attempt to steal my work! An attempt to convince readers he was scouries!

First he created an ALT – [size=+2]scouries_[/size]. Why the QUEEN allowed this is almost incomprehensible. (FYI As a backup this stealer of souls then created other backups, other ALTS, [size=+2]_scouries_[/size] was one but he also had a gabbyALT and a high grand poobah ALT).

Then once he had created these vile replicas he posted under their names pretending to be me! Can you believe it? (See post #668 on the SCOURIES thread… or #660, #652, #649 etc.)

I complained of course. I’m a big boy and can take criticism but I wasn’t going to stand still for identity theft. The palace finally intervened.

It is a wonderful thought to get more writers involved in the contests. The more the merrier. ALL writers should feel that they have an invitation to participate! Get em involved!!!!

My question is though... why are some of us using this thread? Why chose specific writers? Why not just invite us all?

Why use a forum thread to invite specific unilaterally chosen writers who have NEVER (or very seldom) posted to the forums?

It seems to me that if you're serious about involving these writers one should send feedback directly to THEM and not make a public spectical of yourself by posting in a place they are sure to NOT SEE!!! If you want to invite specific people to participate... keep that invitation private. There is no need for the rest of us to know who you specifically invite.

I will not comment on the motives involved but posting such invitations here in public is an insult to the many thousands of writers who do read this.

As far as I'm concerned EVERYONE WHO WRITES IS INVITED.... there is no need to name names.

It's not a perfect world, yet, we could have the perfect contest.

Imagine if every one of the authors that appeared on the 250 Favorite Author List contributed one story to the Nude Day Contest. What do you think would happen?

Maybe writers would vote for themselves, while giving bashing votes to others. Yet, with so many stories from so many different authors, it wouldn't matter.

Chances are, every writer who submitted a story would end up with the same score, theoretically leveling the playing field to have a fair contest.

With all 250 Favorite Authors fighting between themselves to win the Nude Day contest, in the background, we'd have a real contest.

Yes, I cannot imagine a perfect world, but I can certainly imagine a perfect contest. Wow.

I challenge every write how appears on the 250 Favorite Author List to enter a story.

If that happens, if we have 250 stories from the 250 favorite authors on the 250 favorite authors list, and if the first, second, and third place winners are writers who do not appear on the 250 Favorite Authors list, I will multiple the prizes by tenfold.

Can't you see that Scouries attempts at including everyone in the Nude Day contest is as innocent as it is altruistic? As do I, he only wants more participation and by having more participation, not less will, certainly not increase his chances of winning the contest but lessen them.

What having more writers complete will do is to insure a fairer contest, which is what we all want. Unless your agenda is to post, yet, another identity in hopes of winning the Nude Day contest, then, I understand why you'd want less participation to better your chances of winning.

So, you admit, you're trying to cheat at this contest, just as DarkBoy cheated at the Earth Day contest, and just as DK Moon cheats by putting his name to the work of others.
