The Authors' Hangout National Nude Day Support Thread

Scouries, is this your new thread? I thought you had one already where you did this sort of thing.

Everyone pretty much ignores "his" thread, so for attention, he has to invade other threads. At least, that's my theory. :D

Sounds like a wonderful story... however I don't believe that you will ever get a formal invitation... and isn't this now by invitation only? and it seems only those unlikely to compete are invited.

No, the Nude Day contest IS NOT by invitation only. Scouries is doing the inviting, but other than writing stories for this site, like the thousands of other writers here, he's nothing. He has NO affiliation with the site administrators in any way, contrary to what he might say.

He's selecting authors from the Favorite list (found here), most of whom, as you stated, are unlikely to compete. I'll not comment further on WHY he's doing this, you can read back through this thread and the Earth Day Contest Support thread to find out why.

The Nude Day contest is open to everyone who writes on Literotica. The Nude Day contest starts on June 20th and runs until July 11th, with the winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) announced on July 18th.

The rules haven't yet been posted, but if you skim through the rules of a past contest, such as the Earth Day contest, they're the same, with the exception (obviously) of the theme.

What do you mean, the rules haven't yet been posted? Are they going to change from last year?

No. But you've been on the site long enough by now to know that Laurel will make an official posting about the Nude Day contest with the rules, just as she does for every other contest.

Wasn't it last year when the rule of no chaptered stories was added?

The rules are Here.

You need to scroll down to find them. The only difference from the monthly contest rules is that the qualifying number of votes is reduced to 25, and that chapters, or a chapter, of a story are not eligible for the themed contests such as Nude Day.

The main rules for The Authors' Hangout Last Place (tm) Contest are that the story must have been submitted for the main contest and the author must put in a claim by announcing the rating and votes as at the time of the announcement of the winners of the main contest. My patent formula for deciding how stories with less than 25 votes should be scored, and any query on the Last Place rules, are decided only by me.

Hi Little Black Dress! How are you? Any plans or plot bunnies for a nude day story?

I have a rough draft all finished... all I need is the energy to destroy it and then rebuild it... then find a good editor to destroyit anew....

Should make one... although I have been tempted to try and write several more.. just because I was told I couldn't.

Og, this is a shameless plug for you to talk about your own contest while trying to help out with the real rules, plus regain control of your thread. I like it! Nice going.

Now, if I can be the lead-in for anybody else, just let me know....then put your check in the mail.:D

Thanks for the rule reminder.

I don't control anything - except the Authors' Hangout Last Place (tm) Contest.

I do, however, use the ignore function to reduce the interference on this thread.

Of course this sweetie from Pittsburgh is LITEROTICA’S FAVORITEST AUTHOR. #1!

And we know she’ll be iin the

We need her…

OFFICIAL INVITATIONS are being issued as fast as is humanly possible. If you...

...haven't received yours yet it may well be in the mail. Or not as the case may be.

Over 850 readers have made her their favorite

She’s a hot young chick from the frozen northern wilderness and a contest winner. She does have a very weird reading taste (check out her favorites) but that’s what happens when you live in Canada…

I’d definitely like to see her in the

2010 NUDE DAY CONTEST

We need writers from other countries…

Jim

FYI: I posted the following comment on her latest story:

Please enter the Nude Day Contest!
We definitely need to have great writers like yourself entering stories in LITEROTICA'S Special Contests. The contest starts next month - why not reward your faithful readers with an entry

While I don't agree with scouries' personal invitations, the more entries we have for the National Nude Day Contest, the more interesting the competition will be.

Hundreds of entries would confuse the trolls and make the Authors' Hangout Last Place (tm) Contest a hard-fought one.

Write, edit, save and post when the contest opens...

Og

Hugs to everyone who actually tries to write a story, which many of you do.

I wholehearted agree with you, Og, Sir.

I've love to see a Nude Day competition with a few hundred stories, instead of a few dozen.

And here I thought from the first post that you weren’t reading my invites.
