Sorry, Cheater, but you mistaken me for someone who has alts. I have no alts. I want credit for everything, good or bad, that I write.

Moreover, I haven't submitted a story since December 2008. I did rewrite some of my older stories this year, but they were posted under Bostonfictionwriter.

Just because you and everyone else around here have dozens of alts, not everyone is under handed and a cheater. Some of us adhere to higher moral standards. Some of us do not possess the ability to cheat and deceive. Some of us are truly good people and modest, like me.

It helps if all the stories don't look exactly the same, and all of them don't use the same unique style of posting (lol) in comments and the forums. Also helps when you don't have the whole army of them commenting on your stories back-to-back.

The only thing I have to wonder is whether scouries is actually stupid enough to not recognize your latest alt, or whether this is all some part of his delusional master plan.

So, your excuse for exploiting a glitch to make your story page look better is that other people were gaming the system by low-voting your stories, then?

I suppose that's fair, as I have little doubt that your acidic posting personality resulted in more than your fair share of troll votes, but it makes you look pretty hypocritical when you're constantly harping about people having Hs... or cheating... or having alts... or pretty much anything, really.

Now, doing it on your still-posting alt ( Haven't looked to see if Positive Thinker or any of the last crop are still posting stories, or are now relegated to just posting comments on your stories ) is a little stickier. Locking out an old, dead pen name could be sort of considered fair game in light of all the troll voting that you brought on yourself by acting like a complete ass, but doing it on an active pen name is a little harder to explain away.

As I said before, I guess you having no conscience is just as good as a clean conscience.

Actually, I pretty much ignored your latest alt until, while tracking the contests, your score suddenly vanished. I hadn't gotten around to reading the first one before the rest started popping up. That many stories at once convinced me that they were probably a bit hasty, and I saved them for last in my reading queue.

Then your score vanished. I go and look at the story, and it's your signature tell-not-show narrative, and all your other quirks right along with it. Not to say that's bad, but it's certainly distinctive.

That was what put me on the case of your latest way of trying to get around the system, though.

As I said, all anybody has to do is take a look. You're not fooling anyone.

Funny, you agree with sarahhh every time she comes around spouting that everybody in the AH is an alt of the site owners. That would put the total well above the one you're calling "impossible" here -- and that's just stories, not even counting forum posts.

You should really take a couple of minutes out of your day to draw up an outline of the fiction you write here on the forum. I think it's gotten a bit too complicated for you to deal with from memory. A cheat sheet would probably help keep it in the realm of reasonable suspension of disbelief
