Feeding the Trolls

You don't care which side you pick a fight with do you? You'll waffle on anything.

Oh, and the sky is blue too!

Well, no, I don't play teams. I look at each posting on its own merits and try to be balanced. I don't see that as waffling; I see that as not being dogmatic. You'll just have to get over it. :D

People who express opinions on the basis of mainstream morality are neither trolls nor stupid. You can disagree with them, but that doesn't make them stupid or trolls. If you don't find them fun, just erase their comments. But if you wrote the story to provoke them, don't be surprised when that has worked.

In this case, the issue is one of fidelity to someone you have commited to. It's not stupid to hold value in that. I can separate myself and enjoy a good story that throws that out of the window (in fact, a good many of my stories are based in throwing recognized values out of the window), but if a reader chooses not to agree with that abandonment, they may be up tight and unable to separate fact from fiction, but that doesn't make them either a troll or stupid. That's just demonizing them for no particular justification--and repeating yourself what you object to them doing.

Incidentally, Zeb, I don't expect you to understand the concept of looking at each issue independently on its own merits or of seeing the shades of gray between the black and white. Your dogmatically doctrinaire political posts to this forum show you are incapable of understanding that. But you're not alone in that. :D

If the story is about married women complaining about their extramarital lovers, the foundation of objection to that isn't stupidity--the mainstream doesn't, in fact, approve of married women having extramarital lovers, no matter what race they are.

Box constantly declares that the stories are written to provoke.

Oh, and the sky is blue too!

All my stories are intended to titilate somebody, sometimes even including those who like BDSM. Once in a while, I write something to provoke strong negative responses, and "Fucking the Gardener" is one of those. It's about a neglected woman who has an affair with a man her husband hired to work in the garden. To make it extra provocative, I decided to make the man black, but he could just as well been of any race, and I would have worded it slightly differently.

Except for the bigotry displayed, The Pilot is right in describing the comment by Anon. as being mainstream morality. If he or she had just objected to my depiction of a woman committing adultery and enjoying it and planning to do more of it at every opportunity, I wouldn't have bothered to post it here.

By the way, Sylvia, the woman in the story, has absolutely no complaint about her extramarital lover, at least not yet. :D

Incidentally, the LW (I hope the category sticks) story I have posting on Lit. on Thursday also covers cuckold, philandering, ethnic, interracial, cougar, lesbian, BJ, and humor. I thought of wedging in incest, but it just didn't fit--and when I write to such a category, I can usually count on a "return to GM, you fag" comment or two. That last time I covered these many objectional subcategories in LW, the commenters were so stunned that it has yet to receive a single comment. It got a Green E, though. :D

(Oh, and PS, I didn't post the story to provoke; I posted it to work with my definition of what fits in the category. I'll live with whatever comment it evokes.)

Hmmm...just show to goes ya, you really don't know me at all. I got the responses I figured I would. You all are so easy. Push a button, you jump. Slide a switch you waffle. Crank that handle you berate. So easy. ;):D:devil:

You like that waffle word, don't you? Might have worked against Kerry, but not me.

I actually want my representatives to continuously review issues as they develop and to vote based on the best latest understanding rather than knee-jerk dogmatism.

You, I just find a little "young" and dopey. :D

So you actually think they read that bullshit they vote on?

In the case of most legislation, no. They hire staffs to read and digest it and research it and brief them on their choices.

Was that a trick question, or do you really not know how government works? :D

And, surprise, Zeb, government DOES work in the aggregate despite a bit of messiness on the periphery. It's a very, very, very complex country and world, though, so of course the dopey people in the world--you know, the ones who sit in their Laz-Y-Boys all day and pontificate on what everyone else should be doing for them--can't quite getting their little brains around that.

I know how government is supposed to work, I also know how it's working now. I know they should read everything they vote on, ethics demands it the voters expect it. Weather they read a "real" summary or a "slanted" summary is a question that can only be answered by them. Are they voting for their electorate or themselves? It would seem that most vote to keep themselves in office and not what is good for the country, state, county, city.

Yep I know them, they are the ones sucking at the government tit and voting themselves cookies and cake and big screen TVs to watch Entertainment Tonight on.

I know my view of government might be jaded but they haven't done anything...I do mean anything to disprove my view.

What you "know" doesn't really have a relationship to reality. Do you have the foggiest notion of the number of bills and issues constantly running through Congress? (No, obviously not. And why am I not surprised?)

So it's okay for them not do their jobs?

I've told you that you have a dumb view of what their jobs are. Yet another of your questions I answered and you've aren't smart enough to know I did.

Your understanding of government is just so shallow you have no idea what their jobs are. They certainly aren't what the limited thinkers think they are.

I have never gotten any death threats from any trolls, but the story I just submitted will get me some if anything will.

It's in the Loving Wives category, of course, but even more than that, it is about a forty year old white woman who isn't getting any from her husband, so she seduces the gardener. Even worse, he is the legendary hung black stud. This will piss off white people and black people and those who hate LW stories or cheating wives in general. It will irritate literary purists, because it makes no literary pretentions at all. It is strictly smut.

Get to work; I’ve received several death threats (via email for my stories) ….stop being a slacker!

:rose:

I turned it over to the Thought Police....

I wrote a story where I, a coward of the Intellectual Left, had sex with a woman who was a champion of individual liberty and personal freedom. Not that I'm saying ami threatened me with death......

I did receive insults but no death threats yet. What does it take, I wonder.

I once got a death threat that included my fictional characters. It was something like, "...I hope you and every character in this story die violently..." They actually recognized that I was a writer and was writing 'characters' and not real people, yet they still wanted 'us' all dead.

For sure, I'd get a chubbie if Dagny Taggart got her brains fucked out by some cliche communist archetype. Something like an attractive version of Al Franken blasting an attractive version of Ann Coulter with his peen in some back alley.

You have to get the hubby actively involved. He has to guide some cock into his wife, encourage her behvior, lick her sloppy box, fluff the lover to get him hard to fuck his wife, do something degrading to his manhood. The thing that gets to them the most is the husbands lack of anger and outrage at their wife cheating, not the actual cheating itself. It all hinges upon the husband's response to that cheating. If the wife cheats and the husband never fiinds out about it, they are a little mad. If the wife cheats, the husband finds out, and he turns the other way to let it continue, then they are thoroughly pissed. If the wife cheats, the husband finds out, then he encourages and helps her cheat in any number of ways, then they are raging ready to fuck shit up mad. Haha! It's so hilarious. Blood pressures on boil over a fucking story.

I’ve been toying with the idea, well actually wrote it but the story that I wrote is a zombie horror blood bath, and not to sound like a racist one of the main characters is a woman who happens to be Islamic…well radical Islam. Anyway she is having an affair and I’m sure that if I posted this story the death threats would clog my inbox.

Goood

Let me know when you finish that and we'll adapt it as a screen play for Criminal Minds ... casting will be a problem. We can handle it.

This story, "Maipenrai Loving," hadn't even made it to the "New" list (although it was on my profile list) when it was hit with a "1" zap. :D I'll just attribute this to one of my two regular trolls who are so very obsessed with me and zap all of my stories off the top.
