I need some help though.
I don't know what I should wear. I want to make my Daddy proud.
I have two months to take off some weight but I am never going to be able to pick an outfit on my own and since I don't know any kinksters here I need my lit friends to help me.
Links, stores, suggestions...whatever input you have will be greatly appreciated.

very cute - here's an idea

suggestions: high school dress, long white socks (preferaby just over the knee) suspender belt (attached to nothing so the sides hand down lower than the shorter than short dress) sheer white bra, no panties, killer heels (real important) - messy bed hair, lot's of emo looking make-up.
add black leather chocker (preferably jewelled) and wrist band

hint...don't do perfume - use some body butter all ova - one that tastes real good with an exotic aroma...coconut, vanilla - something like that - shine ur body up with it

i.e. Little girl, school girl, pet, puppy, pony, slave, harem slave, goth, vampire, elegant consort, wild child . . . just to name a few

Rather than choosing stock costumes, I like to choose my role and then develop my own style within it, which makes me feel more comfortable in what I'm wearing.

Unless, of course, I'm being told what to wear. Then comfort is not necessarily the goal. :) How do you think he wants to see you?
 
I went to a fetish ball last Saturday and it was a fabulous experience. This was the Skin Two North ball in Leeds, UK on Sat 20th March. It is too early for them to have posted any photos on their site yet but the link below does contain photos from an earlier ball from July 2009 (on the link go to click here if you missed it and it takes you to a gllarey page - also with videos of fashion shows). The ball had the theme of Alice in Fetishland, which provided the inspiration for lots of the outfits. I went as a fetish mad hatter in a pvc metallic blue long tail coat, mistress went as a fetish red queen in costume made especially for her and her tv toy went as the red queen's maid. All of our outfits were made by a local fetish clothing designer called Cathouse Clothing who also did a fashion show at the ball. The link is below. Obviously, they are based in the UK but the link may give you some ideas. I had a great time - it was just a nice feeling to dress up in strange or kinky stuff, be seen and accepted and look at all the other fab outfits. Hope you enjoy, I'm sure you will.

He wants to see me not just looking pretty but looking beautiful and you my dear are recruited to help me figure this out once i get a better idea of what he expects me to look like. LOL I still can't believe I'm going!

I'm more comfortable in fabric personaly. But I've never been to a fetish ball before, so I can't really offer any real advice, but when I go out to a kink friendly place I usually start out like eastern sun. I pick a character first, and then dress her. That's uaully a bit easier.

I've never been to a fetish ball...closest I've come is kink-friendly parties. Those have always had a theme, which helps. It's hard to advise someone else without knowing your body... Can you tell us which parts you generally like to play up and which you like to camouflage? For instance, I'm always trying to downplay the tummy, but pretty much everything else I'm relatively comfortable with... If you've got great cleavage or a hot ass or sexy shoulders or something you particularly like, it might help us with ideas...

Also, since you don't have a theme thrust upon you, is there any particular look you do or definitely do not id with? For instance, the school girl outfit suggested by another poster....I love me some school girl, but not everyone does. On the other hand, I won't go near any kind of PVC or rubber look materials, while plenty of others like that.

Don't worry, you'll/we'll come up with something he and you will both love!
 
I recommend wearing whatever you makes you feel comfortable and sexy, whether that's a vinyl corset and thigh high boots, or a summer dress.

My ass and legs are prolly asset number one. Covered boobage is a must but spilling out the top is fine for me.
 
KC, I would poke around Fetlife and find links to as many public fetish events as you can find. Many of them will have galleries of photos of attendants and you may well get some excellent ideas from the pictures.

Here is an example of the kind of archive that I mean, from an event that I attended. Click on the two poster images for photo galleries. No, you won't find a picture of the yankster there...I was much too simply dressed to catch the photographer's eye.
 
KC the emphasis is on 'fetish' not 'ball'...e.g. a pretty summer dress wouldn't do. Anything leather or PVC would definitely work. Black seemed to be the most popular colour.

I'm not overly fetish (an understatement) so I wore a gorgeous black corset with a black skirt. I certainly wasn't the belle of the ball, but it worked.
