I sincerely apologize to hell_kaiser for banishing him at the instigation of TJChurch last year. I should have listened to both sides and gotten all the information, instead of believing what I now know to be falsehoods.

He has been reactivated.

I promise to look at both sides of disagreements from now on before acting.

Being a mod gives Torg some leeway in these matters. Also the fact that he's a decent guy gives him the benefit of the doubt.

Mods are more prone to attacks/hack attempts so having alternative accounts is to be expected so that they can carry on with their duties, relatively unhindered. Or at the very least have a quick means of getting in contact with someone who can correct the hack/ any damage caused.

Jeez, a public and private apology. Well, if you can keep your promise of getting a story from each side of the situation and not jumping the gun in the future, then apology accepted.

EDIT: Well, nice to see that apology actually meant something. I'm gone for months and come back to find myself banned again. So nice to see Chyoo is being guarded by such quality moderators.

If you wanna dump someone for having multiple aliases, this is the guy to go with. He/She admitted to me they use multiple names, both here & on CHYOO, largely for attacks on other members &/or their writing.

In the first place, there's no rule anywhere, here or Chyoo, about multiple accounts being a no-no, the fact that you keep making them is proof if that. In the second, I comment on your poor grammar, much like in the other topic, and you ignore the comments. Then when I move it to PMs, you behave like a brat and start calling me names. Did I eventually resort to your childish games and rate you with 1s for only one or two mistakes? Yeah, but only attacking you means I attacked a user, not users. I do have fair and good feedback to my name, and that was even before the ban.

So you're account gets banned and it's instantly a hacker? And that hacker has to be me? In the first place you're the one who kept threatening to hack my account. In the second, good luck proving it, especially since I did no such thing to anyone anywhere. And in the third (and I say this as a victim of a hacked account), when somebody hacks your account, generally they change the password and the e-mail address connected to it. The purpose being to lock the owner out and raise hell without the true owner being able to do anything. Therefore, if your account truly had been hacked when you claim it did, you shouldn't have been able to log in as TJChurch to make the statement that led to someone's conclusion of hacking. So stop trying to get me back in trouble just because you lost control of yourself.

Doesn’t anyone else find this arguing and negativity completely destructive to their creativity and will to write? This was an apology thread not an attack on anyone; keep the discussion relevant to the thread. Moreover keep the argument to its original thread!

This is where I bow out; I don’t want any part in this fight. I’m glad to see a writer being welcomed back to CHYOO and I am glad to see that Torg is a big enough man to apologize publicly to someone for whatever reasons, right or wrong I don’t care.

Since this argument is cropping up everywhere I’m going to avoid the forums for a while until this blows over, I have a hard enough time motivating myself to write as it is without all of this.

There are no rules against having multiple accounts on Chyoo. One of Chyoo's most prolific writers has always to my knowledge written under multiple accounts. Granted these are just used for different content within stories not flaming or hacking.
