Death panels?

From Fox News:

"Varying majorities of Republicans (78 percent) and independents (57 percent) think House Democrats are changing the rules to pass the [health care] bill." Only 27% of Dems falsely believe this.

If you repeat lies often enough, people will believe them. Especially republicans.

Does the OP's posting style and use of words remind anyone of someone else?

Yes...

But after a while, all the fucking retards sound just alike.

It's easy to believe they would deny health care to the elderly based on cost-effectiveness since they condone the murder of babies for convenience...

*shrug* You said it.

(I'm too hung over for irony today.)

Anyway, I'm baffled why they ever floated that idea. The only way to get a law signed is to pass the Senate bill. So just vote and pass the fucking Senate bill already and amend the damn thing afterwards. Jesus on a pogo stick, who cares how they do it?

About death panels - I recently met a Doctor who is headed to Britain to study the NHS model for "providing" (limiting) care. "It's the reality of controlling costs."

That was first hand - no spin.

PS - this individual practices at a children's hospital

Bullshit polls are the new meme.

This OP was actually not made by me, but one of the other dudes on this account, lol. Good call on the posting style! I'm impressed. He's Australian though in case that changes anything here.

Zomg so death panels are REAL?!?!

More lies.

Republicans made up a fake 371-billion dollar "doctor fix" memo, accusing the Dems of getting the CBO to "hide" money in their estimate.''

And then they read it on the House floor.

Completely fabricated memo. Completely fabricated notion of hidden money.

Lit's right wing bought it though.

Hey Clown, it's 247 billion dollar bill, read about it:

Miscalculation delivers loss on Medicare doctor's fix for Majority Leader Reid
By Alexander Bolton - 10/21/09 08:27 PM ET

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) lost the first floor battle of the healthcare reform debate Wednesday when 12 Democrats and one Independent joined all Republicans to defeat a bill to halt Medicare cuts affecting doctors.

The $247 billion bill, which would have imposed a 10-year freeze on cuts in Medicare payments to doctors, was an important part of Reid’s plan for passing the broader healthcare reform bill later this year.

This has nothing to do with what I'm talking about.
