Welcome to the House of Heartbreak y'all...
Haha. Teasing. Just because the songs are sad dosent mean we have to be.
Dont get me wrong, I a good Being-in love song as much as anybody. All of the hopefullness,passion and romance in those tunes is a beautiful thing.
However, there are times when I believe that the power of a heartbroken love song, resonates even deeper with the listener. Then there are times when we all just need a good fashioned,spilling your guts out- love tune.

While I was thinking of the idea for this thread, I was reminded of some wise words on the subject of heartbreak. To parahrase one of my favorite anti-heroes Tony Soprano:" Everyone gets the love sick blues sometimes. A million songs have been written about it."

Now THIS is what Im talking about. That is quite a shattering tune. I love the sound of Stevie Nicks voice in this. One of her best, I'd say.

Yeah, she'll never be seen to have a great classical voice but she sure has got a classic emotional voice. So tremulous and passionate. you can hear her pain
