Gotta catch 'em all: A potential pokemon thread OOC

Well, most all of you should know what Pokemon are, for those of you who dont, wikipedia is your freind, now that you're all up to speed, lets get to it.

For reasons unknown, the urge to start up a Pokemon thread has overtaken me (i'll probably hunt down an old copy of one of the games later) I have a few ideas of how to go about it, but I'm looking for any interest and opinions you guys may have, comment on my ideas, offer some of your own, or just say that you might be interested in playing once the thread gets up and running.


Righto, idea time.

Pokemon Knights: a bit like Pokemon meets medieval times, knights mounted on Pokemon and stuff like that. Basically there would be some kind of conflict the thread is based around and all the players are on one of two (ore more) sides.

Pokemon trainers: the more traditional form of Pokemon we're all used to, with trainers roving about, having battles with wild Pokemon, competing in tournaments and what have you. the story here would be rather nonexistent though, unless one of you can think of something it would just be all the characters doing their own things.


those are the two main idea points I have, gut those aren't the only two directions we could go, I'm open to anything you lot can come up with.

Pokemorphs

Instead of trainers capturing innocent little creatures with their tiny balls, hehe, are all trainers replaced with Pokemorphs, humanoid pokemon, who fight each other as the lands are infested with Team Rocket pokemorphs trying to steal any goods you have. It is not a too modern world, there are computers, phones and thel ikes, but no advanced technology, inf act ,the majority of the world still use wagons. There are battle tournaments, dazzle contestests and several other types of ways for a pokemorph to earn recognition as either Battle Master, Dazzle Champion, and other things. Pokemorphs often gather in teams of six for tournaments, as team battles are among the favored battles, and the max number is six, so there are often gangs of pokemorphs traveling together to get stronger together and work togther to achieve thir dreams.

I actually have one or two rps liek this, but no one was interested at the time.

Idea number two

Pokegirls

The classic pokegirl universe where sex and battles are the same, as Sukube has mutated the majority of humanity into sex starved mosnter women, who needs to have sex regulary to keep their sanity, are these Pokegirl Harme Trainers, Breeders, Hunters, and etcetera, fighting with their girls to get to the top and become known as masters of their choosen life, and to get some hot ass booty too.

Well I have wanted to have a real Pokemorph rp for a while, those I make keep ending up dead cold. I'd love to be a houndoom, ninetails, machamp, raichu or maybe even some of the newer generations like Infernape, Garchomp and those dudes.

The pokemorph part is good, but personaly I prefer there being both humans and pokemon, i'm a big fan of the trainer/pokemon dynamic

Well for this one I'd definitely throw out a trainer. The pokemorph idea is different, can't imagine a good pokemon to do nor could I find any decent (the key word decent) pictures of them.

Beleive me, decent is something that rarely appears in pokemorphs, heck even pokemons are rarely decent. It is much easier to just write the descriptions insteadf of looking for pictures for some hours and then decide on a half asses one because you couldn't find any better.
