I have an idea I'd like to explore. You buy a new phone and a guy takes your existing phone into the back room to download everything to your new phone. But he does a little more and downloads all your information - selfies, videos, chats, searches - everything to a phone that he cloned to duplicate yours. In a month or 2 you start receiving emails with a selfie of yours attached saying your phone has been hacked - and the blackmail starts.
Option 2 would be you simply left your phone on a table when you left the coffee shop. Unlocked. A stranger picks it up and takes it home.....
In either case, you could be anyone you chose - a mom, a teen, a business woman, a teacher, anything.
