Shitty movies that must be shared.

I so wanted to love that movie, but it... hurts to view it.

The worst of it is, if you set aside all of the crap layered on top of it, there's a really good movie under there. The writer deserves an hour alone with Gilliam and a baseball bat.

i've never seen it, but i can forgive him. time bandits rules, fear and loathing rules, brazil rules and baron munchhausen rules.

I loved "Brazil" and "Time Bandiits" as well.

yes, i love terry gilliam.

If you wish to continue in that opinion, do not watch this movie. I would give "The Wind in the Willows" a miss as well.

also, monty pythons.

Brazil and 12 Monkeys rule. Time Bandits kinda sorta rules. Everything else he's done outside of Python sucks.

For the most part it had a lovely look to it, it felt rich in the details, visually. But that is such a minor thread to hold on to, not quite strong enough for the movie to rest on.

OMG!! Tremors is like one of the greatest B flick si-fi/horror flicks ever made!

Bad movie? other than Bad Boys, and The Rock pick a Michael Bay Flick...how Transformers even made money just re-enforces Mike Judges "Idiocracy". BAYSPLOSIONS!@!!@@ BOOOOOOB BLAOWWW *que super dramatic scene with helo flying into the sun* BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM BLAOOOW BAYSPLOSIONS! and dont forget that POS with angelina jolie and clive owen, the one about all the dying babies in africa, and cambodia, and serbia...I have seen better story lines from 3rd graders.

Seconded.

Also: Best Craptacular: Stay Tuned with John Ritter

Has anyone successfully made it all the way through an Austin Powers movie?

You don't get Austin Powers. You have to intimate knowledge of Matt Helm, Our Man Flint, James Bond, and 60's era Carnaby St. .

"The Brothers Grimm." It's a thorough education in the art of directing, as every single part of the director's job calls itself to your attention through its excrutiating badness. WTF scene transitions, schizophrenically inconsistant acting, huge plot-destroying tangets in pursuit of pointless French jokes, people eating gobs of raw kitten - this movie has it all. It's as if someone said to Terry Gilliam, "You know, after 'Brazil,' your reputation as a director really is assured," and Gilliam replied, "We'll see about that!"

one of the few movies we simply couldn't continue watching.

how can you not like fear and loathing in las vegas?

It's shit, man. He tried and failed but it's not really his fault because I don't think it's filmable. Gilliam has mucho talent and obviously his visuals are always good but not everything translates well.

I didn't even bother. It never looked funny to me at all. The trailers were horrible and if those were the best parts then I can only imagine what the rest of the movie was like.

Umm, hello?!?

SHOWGIRLS!

Also, I forget the name of it, but where a bunch of dbags fight alien spiders. They made several sequels.

That doesn't mean they didn't walk out. Also, Titanic made billions, it still blew.

Yes, they walked out of the first one, then paid to see the second and walked out of that and then paid again to see the third and walked out of that. It all makes sense now.

Titanic was a technical marvel. The story may be lacking but from a technical standpoint it is brilliant.

dude, they made two sequels. they were popular movies. just give up.
