The taliban have admitted that our presence in afghanistan has kept them focused there instead of finding another way to attack the U.S. again. Anyone that knows me on this site knows that it takes a great deal to anger me.

I can't tell if you were being sarcastic and putting down the US or are that naive that you think we aren't vulnerable here? A country the size of ours can never completely protect our borders.

Americans, Brits, Canadians, and many other people around the world are putting their lives on the line in the name of freedom and democracy. Our ways may not always be right, but we are an amazing nation.

I lived in a 3rd world country for 2 years, and in a Muslim community... I felt safe there - certainly safer than I felt after 9/11. We are not immune to terrorism at any time - from foreign and domestic enemies.

I probably should have taken the time to organize my thoughts better here... but my thanks to all the military, former military, and family members for your sacrifices.

I am not advocating the war, I'm simply saying don’t blame the soldiers,sailors,airmen and marines. Blame the dick suck politicians who give the orders to do it. ICT while my personal life isn't where I'd like it to be right now, my professional life is going along much better than I thought it would.

ICT, after the mess with that woman I was seeing towards the end of last year, I'm having a hard time taking compliments on my appearance. Having a woman tell you how hot and sexy you are and then dropping you like a ton of bricks doesn't do good things for the ol' self esteem.

ICT, along those same lines, I'm thinking about discontinuing my pic thread. I'm just not feeling it these days, y'know?

It is hard to see the forest for the trees when trying to figure out how one can say one thing and do another. Of course, not knowing the situation, I can bet that how hot and sexy you were in her eyes, that fact, did not change... but reasons why she dropped you had nothing to do with that.
