Thanks for the info, faq. That was the first time that I've seen/heard of Crystal Renn, and I liked listening to some of her interviews and of her struggles - but then she was promoting her book. :eek: Still, I think it's good that she spoke out. :) Re: photoshopping, I guess it's common in the industry?! Models are photoshopped and airbrushed, so the one you see on the magazine cover is different from the real person. I've read somewhere about airbrushed ads being banned in the UK - due to Twiggy's Olay eye or face cream - wherein they removed some of her facial lines and made her appear younger - which is quite misleading since the product is supposed to remove wrinkles. Re: the plus-size models, it was pointed out in this thread http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=687746&page=5 that those models don't really look plus-size but rather on the larger end of medium. I agree with them.

Another issue in the UK is that so many ads say 93% of women prefer ......
to give the impression that it's 93% of ALL women. After complaints we now see, in a small font,"based on a sample of 127. Hahaha. Bullshit galore.
