I was just surfing the web (is that term still used? lol) and I happened to see a pic of a dress worn by two models - one by a "regular" model and one by a plus-size model. (forgot where it is, so I can't link it) Personally, I think the plus-size model, Crystal Renn, looked great (and even better) than the regular-sized one. I couldn't believe that she's plus-size! I mean, she has all the right curves, and looks fantastic! So I googled Crystal Renn to see more of her - I couldn't really see her face from the small pics. And she's gorgeous! IMO, she resembles Brooke Shields.

I didn't know that Glamour magazine did a story on plus-size models last Nov 2009 - I think it's great! So many gorgeous women and I can't believe that they're considered plus size! I watched their interview on "Ellen" and I didn't know that plus-size is a size 8 or more! I mean, I think I'm a size 4 or 6 (don't know US sizes, but in EU I'm size 34-36, and one of my panty tags say that the equiv of 34 is 4, lol), but then I'm only a little over 5 feet, and my frame is small. Crystal Renn is 5'9" and at one time she weighed 95 lbs, and still she wasn't considered thin enough. :eek: http://www.time.com/time/arts/article/0,8599,1931990,00.html Gosh! I was 95 lbs back when I was 16! It's horrific that the modeling industry forces women to starve themselves to be able to fit those clothes. I've read about having the "sample" size (size 0 to 4) and why actresses starve themselves so that they can get into those "free" clothes by designers. Golly, if you were 5'9" and less than 100 lbs, that would be sooo unhealthy! I'm glad that there is a growing appreciation for healthy-looking women, and that article and photo shoot by Glamour was empowering. It might just cause me wrinkles! lol But I also resolve to exercise more - it makes me feel healthier - endorphins all around, and a healthier me is a happier me! :) I think I've mentioned before that when I was sluggish and a bit fatter, I started having health problems, which disappeared with a little exercise, weight loss and healthy eating.

Cheers in Danish is SKÅL (comes from skull - we are Vikings, you know, so we used to cut the top of peoples head , take the brains out and drink from the skull - therefore SKÅL!! and Happy New Year (Glædelig Nytår) and the last sentence in Danish is: selv tak!:kiss::rose::kiss:

It's during these shots that I wish I had that "baby's ass" cleavage. :eek: But then if I did have it, I probably wouldn't have such pointy "thermometers", no? :eek: :D So, in retrospect, I like my boobs! ;) Will answer comments next time. :)

only one problem.

those pictures of Crystal have been drastically photoshopped. I would guess the equivalent of a 15-25lb weight loss as she is claimed elsewhere to currently weigh about 165lb and measure 39-31-42 other recent pictures would also suggest the weight and measurements I have posted.
