ICT that I'd settle for the comfort provided by a good loyal hunde periodically. I miss having a dog. Many is the time when life was rough that I found a friendly dog so very comforting.

I'm living in one of those no dog sorts of places now unfortunately. One of my best moments in the last year was when a lovely albeit dirty golden retriever wandered up lost one day and spent a few quality hours with me, until his owner showed up to retrieve him.
