Me too. However, in hind sight, it may be better to have the participants actually go through the effort of making the submissions, eh?

This is tough! From the standpoint of draftsmanship, 2 and 4 are way out in front. And, I admit that 1 is a clever use of the keyboard. On the other hand, the message in 3 adorable. Hmmm . . . but for some reason, I'm voting for 5. I think it's the implied Non-human aspect that appeals to me.

Of course, it is my own fault for being inclusive.

You can't get rid of juvenile disruptive alt voting in non-public polling, but I think the process largely works out okay here. The goal is to foster ongoing, creative, visual erotica making along with a community process in the doing and out of that, a member appreciation of said visual erotica alongside the written erotica at Lit. And I think it's working out. Don't worry about the few dandelions in the lawn.

You might be giving 'em too much credit for nothing. The thing is, it's a big fat fail if they're trying to make a joke at our expense when we just accept it and don't stop doing what we do, continuing to remain inclusive to everyone who wants to get in on the process. Even more of a fail when they don't have the alts to back up a real party crashing.

It's only "funny" the first time around. This time, it's like...*yawn.* I never understand why people think they are more clever than they really are. If you have the time to be weak-balls snarky, why not be truly creative and join in on the fun?

Nothing in the my execution of the concept made them pop - so, no. And I didn't have time to dig out a cryo unit and make a new one.
