How long as the "cougar" identification been around anyway? First I knew was from the TV series.

I sometimes dip in the online sex terms dictionaries looking for terms to build a story around. This one seemed a good match for a Halloween story.

That one, I'm afraid, is beyond me. Had no idea of the term when I was being trained by them way back when *laugh* The area I'm from is weird and always about a decade behind the latest lingo.

Wellllll . . . guess I should try to figure out the male equivalent, if we're taking about training by them. My problem was that I was so narcisistic that I didn't even see them coming and have any idea what they wanted until it was all over.

I had no trouble figuring out what Sandra and the string thereafter wanted ( at least once I ended up at her house ) That was the good thing. No problem giving directions. I got my Doctorate in getting a woman off that year and a half or so *laugh*

Last I knew, Cougar was the only one, but there are apparently several new divisions, with Puma now assigned to the lower range age of what used to be Cougar.

Only male version I've ever heard of is Silverback, but as I said, I'm always behind the times.

Ah, good, thanks. Gotta look that up and see how it fits in the story. Of course, I've already written the story time and time again--I just haven't used that term. Looks like a good story title.

I've heard that one used racially, though. Not always, but I have seen that one given negative racial connotations.

ETA: Silver Fox. That one doesn't seem to have any negative/racial connotations I can find ( other than the same sort applied to cougar )
