According to this, the more spiritual you are, the better your sex life.
Read the whole article. Religiousness is not inescapably connected to spirituality.

In my belief, spirituality is about the connection to ones inner-self and nothing to do with religion. It's the connection between the mind and body and the elements around us. If someone is purely physical in their approach to sex, the stimulation factors are limited. When the mind is brought in to play, the stimuli is increased exponentially.
I think religion in and of itself is a deterent to great sex. The constrictions of faith to delve into areas of great pleasure, stifle the mind to be open to things non-religious people enjoy freely.
Ya I read it, after I posted. Funny how guys react different. Wonder why that is

Because guys want to be connected with women in ways other than spiritually...for a while, anyway.![]()
Maybe, Tom, but I think that a truly sensual, sexual male is going to feel as much delight in his partners' company as he does in their bodies. That's why I am such a (theoretical) believer in polyamory. Owning a harem is just a bull with a herd. My idea of the consensual, egalitarian commune is good female friends with benefits.

IDK. Even a ONS can be deep. In the moment anyway
Like that idea. When it works both ways it can be fun.![]()
Hmmm...that involves talking and stuff doesn't it?
Well, of course. That's the idea. Acreage, shops, houses, good friends and lovers. Except for their serious error of believing in celibacy, the Shakers make a really good model. See my upcoming novel, The Dissertation for an example.![]()
Hey, given how hard it was for a bear to learn to talk, I'm going to do all I can.
Celibacy. Eck. It's unfortunate, but I have to admit. Woman probably came up with that![]()
You're doing better than your cousin in the ranger's hat. All he can do is repeat that stuff about preventing forest fires. That'd bore a woman to tears.![]()
I don't agree. I think people, no matter what they believe, that can open up that special part of themselves that connects to high spirituality, have access to feelings jaded nonbelievers may never experience.
That's why I asked earlier if perhaps being stiffled by your religion had a different effect. If it smothers you I agree it would be a deterant. But if it makes you feel alive and fulfilled, how could it not add to the pleasure?
Kinda like danger junkies. Would love to be one of those![]()
Want to be a danger junkie? Get naked in a public place and fuck someone. Talk about exhilaration. Having a hundred people watch you get fucked will raise the adrenaline, believe me. Or try and drive down the highway without ant pants on and have someone lick and finger you or use a dildo while you try and stay in control of the car.
