Understood, it is an individual thing. However, I believe that, generally speaking, women are more sensitive than men. I don't know why; maybe it's because girls receive more personal compliments than boys. Little girls are pretty and have pretty faces and pretty hair and wear pretty clothing. Little boys don't do any of those things. Personally, when I was a little boy, if somebody had said I was wearing a pretty shirt, I probably would have gone and smeared mud on it or something. I didn't like to be told things like that.![]()
Well, so what it sounds like you're saying in the first part is that this could be because of socialization. Men are made to feel uncomfortable expressing their feelings? But, in the end, I suspect it's an individual thing.
