but is it so much about hurting the person as humiliating them, inflicting light, or sharp, blunt and sudden pain, seeing the tears, hearing the cries and begging......and THEN getting them to admit that they REALLY did want it???

That is the best part for me.....making them feel guilty for wanting punishment, feeling naughty and wanton and slutty and submissive because of it......and then because of all those emotions.......come back begging for more?

The conquest of getting a shy, reserved person to admit to all these feelings and then actively begging for more is the greatest victory i could imagine.
