My son is 4...started pre-k today.
Just got him on the bus about 10 minutes ago and i honestly feel bad and excited at the same time.
He's been excited for school for hte past month, i've been getting him all hiped up about it. He didnt want to go to sleep last night and didnt want to wake up this morning lol Once i got him awake enough to tell him he had school today- boy was he up and running to get ready lol we sat out in my car for about 10 minutes, him getting flustered that the bus wasnt here yet and me biting my nails hoping it wouldnt come.
I feel really bad because i know he has no idea whats going on, he doesnt like not knowing how to do something or where to go. But excited because he'll learn, and boy does that kid love to learn.
Anyways, how did you feel when your kids started school? How did they feel and adapt? Were you full of emotion wanting to hug him and not let him on the bus like i wanted to? Or were you steady and ready to watch him start school?
