The HT is a great place, with some excellent people, good conversation, and interesting topics and issues brought up for discussion.

I'll tell you why. The same reason as me I suspect. This forum doesn't always appear on the forum's page. The 'How To' one does, but not the 'Cafe', maybe that's the same with all the cafe's?

Yep. All the cafes are chatty subforums. HT is for discussion threads, HT Cafe is for chat.

They don't bother with that in the GB because who the hell would know the difference?

See that's just wrong, I can't see this thread in the Cafe, but it shows up in HT proper, in the Cafe preview bar, that's wrong, I don't want to see it at all. Doesn't the intelligence vacuum make the rest of you feel cold?
