On more than one occasion I have been encouraged to have sex with a lady friend who finds that it is far more rewarding for her to have sex whilst she is menstruating. As for me personally, I don't have any real problems with it - as the OP noted it is messy, but just put a towel down. Oral is maybe not the best idea, but sex is certainly just as good if not better than ever. As noted also, the women I've dated have been much hornier during their period - one or two have been pretty hung up about it and could not get over their own revulsion to want sex. Most have been of the mindset of "well, I'll just have to take care of you with my mouth or tits during that time if he doesn't want to fuck me" while a few have been of the mindset "time for the back door". *shrug* Hard to call any of that a bad deal as a man to be honest.

Oh and all the women I've dated have found that having orgasms helps with PMS cramping and such and is also extremely soothing during their periods as well - that's probably not exactly news to anyone, but there it is.

I do find that i do get significantly hornier at that time of the month also. it is fun to have a partner that is not turned off at it and is more than welcome to give me a sound pummeling without a care in the world at that time of the month.

I sometimes also feel a bit smelly around that time...although in general, if neither of you are too squeamish, you can usually find a way to make it work.

To answer the question, though, I've never noticed feeling particularly horny during my period...if anything, I'd more likely be in that kind of mood earlier in my cycle, around the time I ovulate.

I am one of those women who IS VERY horny during her period. Most guys of course are not into this but I don't have a problem with it at all. I guess if you're less concerned about smells, than this is a good thing, but I'm also someone who loves the smell of sex too!
