I do once in a while, but I must tell you I am plugged into my IPod most of my waking hours.

Are you one of the first to start dancing or do you wait until the floor is crowded?

I wait until I am dragged onto the floor .

I know how to dance... I guess I just... yeah.

Do you ballroom? I do, with the right partner.

Take care, thank you and enjoy your evening!

What is the most effective economic system and why?

I'm tempted to say communism, just because it riles people up. Socialism for the same reason. Capitalism works for some, doesn't work for others. I choose bartering--trade goods and services for other goods and services, no money. It's a little more fair that way. Hmm, I can dream, right?

Same question?

do you want the short answer or the long one???

It's late, I'll take the short one.

The Collectivist Economic System is the most efficient form of wealth distribution. It is also the system which both raises and equalizes the greatest number of producers without offsetting the supply side of the equation.

The one detractor of the system is that it leads to a political oligarchy and the ensuing depression and restraint of trade in an effort to pbtain market supremacy.

If people were less greedy this system is the most beneficial to all.

What is the motivating impetus in western culture driving consumption

this is a chart which does direct comparisons between capitalism, socialism and collectivism

With lots of money and no worries, maybe in Palm Springs or something. Or somehwere in Florida where I can harass all the spring breakers. :D

Have you had one of those wild spring breaks they talk about on TV?

unfortunately most of the first four years of college were pretty much like the X rated version of one of those shows

lots of regrets

Have you ever gone sailing

I own some kayaks

but will own a sailboat soon 2178 days and counting

are you polite to people even when you dont have to be?

I am. I'm polite to a fault and it pisses me off when people aren't the same. It's not my fault you hate your job, or your boyfriend cheated on you, or someone close to you just died. We all fucking go through it!

Have you received criticism you considered unjust?

I'm married....so yes.

Do you go to a park to think?

I'm married....so yes.
:D So, so true!

Where's an unlikely place you do some of your best thinking?

Cycling. My least worst poetry has been composed whilst cycling (including the one linked to in my signature block), though I have to stop to write it down before I forget.

Is there a particular activity you do that's particularly conducive to letting problems think themselves out "on the back burner"?

Mowing my lawn.

What is the most public place you have gotten off?

The ladies' room. :D

Least worst poetry. Not so different from what I write.

Meditation. Kind of. My mind is usually too busy to let things work themselves out on their own though.

Do you trust your own intuition?

Very much so, especially when it comes to people. It's been referred to as an inkling.

Have you often thought something of a person only to realize later how wrong your first impression was of that person?

I definitely have. It's not a good feeling. But sometimes getting first impressions corrected can lead to a great friendship. Or it can lead to finally getting that person out of your life.

How hard do you work at correcting false impressions?
