When I was in my 20s (and even early 30s) it was very, very unusual for me to have an orgasm from vaginal intercourse. I would guess that the overall average was about 10% of the time it would happen.
Now, it's pretty damn easy for me to climax from vaginal penetration, so long as I'm really into it. Several times, if its a good day.
For most of my life, we've often heard that women really begin to "sexually peak" in their late 30s to early/mid 40s?
I wonder, is this true? Is it really an age thing, this shift towards getting off on vaginal penetration? Or is it simply a matter of being more comfortable with ones own body? Or is it all a myth.everyone is different?
And what happens in ones 50s, 60s and beyond? Does it get better or worse, or is it all the same? Do the methods of orgasm change?
Honor system for this poll: I made it anonymous.
This poll is imperfect in order to keep it short:
When I write "clitoral" as an option, I mean this clearly dominates your method of achieving an orgasm, and vaginal takes quite a bit of extra effort/luck, etc.
When I write "vaginal" I assume - fair or not - that this is a method which works quite often for you, though you surely can and do have clitoral orgasms as well.
Women over 70 are strongly encouraged to chime in with your two cents. you are left out simply because I don't have the room to have that many options - those of us who are younger than you want to hear your feedback. If you are 18-19, vote as a 20 something.
or simply discuss.
