We don't get enough members like J, she came here to ask questions and to get some advice (not to have her ideas validated like so many do). She found a lot of the suggestions had merit and she came back and told us how useful it was (that doesn't happen so much, so it's nice for everyone that tries to help, to know some good has come of their efforts).
Even better she used that advice as a base to change her situation, and kept us updated on her progress (that's a rarity, so often we are left wondering, did we help or not).
Add to that the fact that she is clear, concise, obviously smart and apparently can kick the odd arse when the need arises.:D
What more can you ask for?
(No that wasn't my question)
Oh, and welcome to Lit.:rose:

I do have one though, what, if anything, are you obsessive about?
If, by chance you are not obsessive about anything then perhaps you can answer the question that Silver asked me in my thread about the "one" book, I've folded under the pressure.

Excellent choice of member, and running from a question I remember from the original thread, who gets an invite to your dinner party?

I've not had the pleasure of interacting with J yet. This is my failing, not hers. So now, I will have to go snoop around a little. J, do you ever feel like someone is checking you out? :D

I'm always curious about what brings people to the Lit corner of the world. So, how did you find this place?

What BeeGee said.

I thought she handled herself well in that first thread she started, particularly in the patience she showed when people kept bumping it to give advice without reading her updates--or beyond the first post, for that matter. :rose:

What kinds of books, magazines do you like to read?

What is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?

What do you get excited about?
What's your favorite season?
Do you have any pet peeves?
What do you like to do in your spare time (I know, what spare time, but imagine, K)? :D

What these ladies said :rose:

What is the one thing that will guarantee you to smile?

Im assuming none of us know J all that well, that's the point of a spotlight thread...and what BeeG said ^^^^

A few more questions.
Are you allergic to anything?
Where is the ideal holiday destination?
Do you have a credit card?
What's it's number and expiry date?

JtohisPB - Hi!

What do the J and PB mean in your name. Are they initials or do they actually stand for something?

:)

I'm pretty sure I know what the letters stand for, because I've been trying to figure it out since I "met" J in another thread here in the HT Cafe. She seemed very kind and knowledgeable in that thread.

I got curious about her name, and I enjoy word games, so I tried to figure it out. I think I did, but I want to see what she says here to find out if I'm right. lol

Something you guys enjoy that ain't so prevalent in other cultures. I can safely say I've never heard something ask for or have it.

And what, pray tell, is "a Yank thing?"

BTW, I'm pretty sure that I know what J's lit name means as it's often on my breakfast menu.

I think I know what it is too -- J's Lit name, not what a Yank thing is. The answer to that remains a mystery. ;)

I'm guessing it's

"Jelly to his Peanut Butter"...Just in case anyone out there weren't able to suss it out.

It took me like a month and a half before I got it. But I'm stupid about stuff like that.
