Saw this today,

Karl Rove is suppose to testify before Congress in June? This should be good.

Article goes on to say that we will probably not get straight answers from Karl and the Congress geeks will all be grandstanding, so nobody is going to ask where the bodies are buried?

Maybe we'd get the truth if we water boarded him?

Okay. Why do you even care about Karl Rove now?

Accountability? You know, the conservative mantra that says we all need to take responsibility for our actions? Karl needs to man-up and own his mistakes.

He's your fucking hero.....Your mentor, your inspiration.....another one of these moral degenerates like Dick Cheney and Amicus who never had to face an enemy with a gun in their hand....who never had to end another human's life, who can parse and bullshit about abstractions when it's just a pack of scared kids out there trying to survive.....
But you guys know all about that that, right?
Right?
What a pack of pussies......

Not at all. I've said it many times that I didnt support Bush or his administration. If you were literate and unafflicted with reading disabilities, you'd recall it. But Rove is a political onsultant just like James Carville is, and neither of them hold or held political office.

I suspect you pussies wanna start some shit YOU cant finish.

So, the political consultant to the president is not responsible for his actions, even though that's what he preaches? Why am I not surprised?

DEE ZIRE

The President is responsible for their actions, and advice isnt something you can prosecute.

Excuse me. Rove was on the government payroll in the White House. He's accountable for any wrongdoing he might have done in those years just like any other government employee is.

Your arrogance almost matches his to suggest he's untouchable for his performance as a government employee.

However, you can prosecute for outing a CIA agent.

Or for fostering a conspiracy to fraudulent effect the election of National Officers.

Or to conceal a conspiracy by the Vice Prez to advance the Yellow Cake lies as intelligence so that that dumbshit W could start a war, just to get back at Saddam for trying to kill his father?

If the Justice Department wanted to get Karl, I should think that he could be gotten. Is Obama going to turn then loose on the Bushies? I thought not until a few days ago, now I'm not so sure.

Obama has ignored his critics so far and the Retard's are showing they have nothing good to say and little that they can criticize because Obama is going along with most Bush policies while he deals with the mess that W left behind.

MISTER SOFTEE

Was he indicted for anything? Fitzpatrick indicted Rove for lying to investigators, then dropped the charge. Rove's walking around free, so I guess he didnt go to jail for anything.

I suggest he is and was a political hack who worked for Dubya from 1980 to 2007.

If I'm arrogant, youre naive about politics in Washington.

That's rich. You calling me naive about politics in Washington.

What I posted had nothing to do with politics. You said Rove was a private consultant; I said he worked on the government payroll when he held White House jobs. It doesn't take political brilliance to discern the truth to that disagreement (although it does sort of point to how far out of Washington you live).

As far as indictments, nothing is closed out on that yet--although one of your postings seemed to try sweep that under the rug.

Get over yourself and buy some Prozac if you need help with your depression.

Rove was Dubya's stooge since, what, 1980? By your reckoning even Michelle Obama is a government employee as she receives government supplied room, board, and benefits.

No, although there has long been a move afoot to put the president's spouse on the government payroll--because, with the exceptions of Bess Truman (who spent most of the time in Missouri) and Mamie Eisenhowever (who spent most of the time at the bridge table, boozing and smoking), all First Ladies in the post WWII era have worked their butts off for the nation while their husbands were in office--they have yet to be given government paychecks.

The White House jobs Karl Rove occupied, though, were government jobs with government paychecks.

It's fun that you continue to dance around this. Just more egg on your face. :D

MISTER SOFTEE

Let me see if I got this right. The gooey slimy stuff on my face is egg, and the gooey, slimy stuff on your face is what?

MISTER SOFTEE

Hold your breath until I make the confirmation.

That's our monkey! When cornered, throw monkey poo.

That's not so bad, the other day Richard Perle denied his own existence the other day. He said that there are no "Neo-Con" foriegn policy plans. He may have his name on them but , Well, "I never read them".

I'll bet he was just in it for the Dick! :D :) :D

You guys need to save your rope and pitchforks for Obama.

So far Obama hasn't done anything to warrant even a pickle fork. Even his jokes are moderate.

However if he does push gun control or starts to cut the Defense budget in a meaningful way, I wouldn't advise him to travel to Dallas. :D

Every second that Karl Rove isn't hanged for treason is a travesty of justice.
