Things have been a bit "contentious" lately, about the PF&D.

Nothing odd about that, I think. We all get irritated with each other, in various star-like configurations. I'd be hard-pressed to actually name some "regular" (however one might define that slippery noun) with whom I've not been at least peeved, let alone full-bore angry at.

Maybe bogusbrig or wildsweetone. Maybe. I mean, I can't remember being especially pissed at either of them, anyway, which probably means I was drinking too much at the time.

I'm sure I've been angry or at least unhappy with all the rest of you at some time or another. Like, this is an Internet forum, right? 'S why they issue the Kevlar suits when you sign up, n'est-ce pas?

So. I think we need some thread to vent those pent up angry feelings. I'm happy to be everyone's piñata for this, but also feel free to hammer away at Nameless Person, if that makes you feel better. No specific names other than me own, please. (It detracts from my showy sacrificialness, y'know.)

I promise to be crushed by your scalpel-like verbal assaults. I will be humiliated and cowed and not able to hold my head up again in this forum.

You have been nothing but kind to me even when I did not deserve it. You have aided me in my poetic endeavors, you have encouraged me and been honest with me when my work needed work. I have no problems with you, past present or future, in fact, you tend to crack me up with that sly wit of yours and your accounts of travel with your job have always entertained me.
