Here's a question...
It seems that these tea parties attract less people than the anti-war protests. If the tea parties are a demonstration of the will of the people and the government should bend to that will, shouldn't it also bend to the will of the anti-war groups?
So does that mean that the politicians should pay attention to protests that have a real, decent sized turn-out?
What's the biggest right wing protest estimated at today... 2000?
laughable...
Waste of time.
The only people who care about the protest of the day, are those participating in the protest.
Thing to remember. It remains to be seen how big they are. These are working Americans who write the checks to the IRS, today is a working day. These are not professional campus demonstrators.
That's arguable today KO, Obama is governing against the will of the American people, the tens of thousands of working Americans on the streets today who will have their income confiscated to pay for it all is grim testimony to it.
Rather naive of them to think this is only a radical fringe on the streets, thousands showed up in Sacramento today and thousands in New York. Most of these are going on into tonight.
I used to go camping with Holy and I always swiped his tea bags. He had interesting sorts.![]()
My local news this morning said a minimum of 3,000 today at Fountain Square, and they were going to march to City Hall.
And why do y'all keep referring to it as "right wing", aka "Republican"?
It's not about party, it's about out of control government--that would be both major parties. You're probably surprised to hear Democrats and other folks who voted *for* Obama will be in attendance.
That's not a rally.6,000 in Orlando..
That's not a rally.
THIS is a rally......

I've been hell pissed about every dime spent in Iraq since March '03.Thing to remember. It remains to be seen how big they are. These are working Americans who write the checks to the IRS, today is a working day. These are not professional campus demonstrators.
Your source...?Yep and HALF of them were at the TEA PARTY.
Your source...?
Sounds to me you get a little nervous when the silent majority gets a little vocal eh?![]()
There were 100,000 Obama fans in St. Louis at that rally last October.Attended One. A very mixed Crowd. Dems and GOPs are all over the place.
As soon as you screw with people’s money their political affiliation goes out the window.
There were 100,000 Obama fans in St. Louis at that rally last October.
Half of those October fans would make 50,000 at a tea party. Add in right wingers, and that would be a heck of a crowd in Missouri today.
Do you know the stats for tea party attendance in that state?
The Tea Party was just the first of many.
