As someone who has a history of feeling like shit about themselves, I can only sympathise, lorilei... it's a horrible place to be. I live it everyday.
However, just because someone tells you that you're not wonderful, or worthy of respect, or your feelings and health don't matter doesn't make it true. And inside you know this is the case.
Don't accept it when someone lies to you. Just be true to yourself.
And remember - opinions are like arseholes - everybody has one, and some are shittier than others!
