Ishmael is gonna make the first move.
Hey Ishy when are ya gonna do a fun thread? Your like always with the depressing stuff.![]()
The only question is, "Who's going to jump first?"

I wouldn't be surprised to find out there are some of our special ops advisors in Mexico now.
Apparently we might get one more chance to blow it off the map.
Apparently we might get one more chance to blow it off the map.
Why would we do that? Can anyone remember why we are at war with Cuba?? Seriously, our leadership is insane, all of them. It's Cuba! Im glad we gave that little boy back, that made sense....
The world isn't going to end silly girl. I don't think the world cares one way or the other.
No, it's not going to be a fringe group bro. If history has taught us anything it's taught us that in times of economic collapse it is the more powerful, more populous, nations that make the move. That does not rule out the possibility that a smaller nation might be the catalyst. But I don't think it would be the likes of N. Korea. The Chinese want to see fearless leader gone just as badly as anyone else. Actually, they wouldn't mind at all if S. Korea took over the whole peninsula.
I'm thinking that Pakistan-India has all sorts of possibilities.

Yes, I remember why the embargo is in place. Castro nationalized all assets after coming to power without paying for any of them. The deal with cuba is pretty straight forward, like a kid that was caught stealing from the neighborhood store, when Castro pays for the shit he stole, he'll be allowed back in the store again.

Russia and China will unite to take out the U.S.
Why would they want to?
You know, no post-Castro government, whatever form it takes, is going to have the slightest interest in restoring any of that property. No Miami Cubans are never going to get granddad's sugar plantation back.
So what's the point of maintaining the embargo? It does no good to Cubans, no good to Americans, and will never destabilize the Castro regime. And citing Castro's expropriations after the Revolution is a piss-poor reason.
