Can anyone explain how to save a picture as your avatar? It's much nicer and friendlier when a real person explains things, so don't "read the FAQ" me, please!

It should be no larger than 150 by 150 pixels or 15.0 KB (whichever is smaller), then you go to User CP, click on Edit Avatar, and then you can upload your pic. One caveat, though: you have to have at least 100 forum posts before you can use one.

Ok. Saving a pic. First. Right click the said picture and save as either .jpeg or .gif or.png
Then, to get an appropriate size you will need to resize it. If you don't have what you need, I have a program that will allow it and can be compressed to fit the file requirements for the site. If you have it saved online, you could send me a pm with the link to it and I can save it then fix the size for you and send it back. (For instance, photobucket.com is a good site to save pics to if you have others to share).
