I always find it interesting that the socialist want we "The Loyal Opposition" to shut up and move to another country.

I love my country The United States of America. I may disagree with the present policies and I will try to make my voice heard. That is the way a democratic republic is supposed to work.

We in the U.S.A. have a very different idea of what loyal opposition is.

I am an American and by my Constitution I am allowed and am even encouraged to voice my disagreement with what my countries policies are.

Just as a reminder the American recovery 1.2 billion bill would have a "Buy American" provision caluse. While the Canadian government hopes the provision would not apply to Canada, Americas biggest trading partner.

You might take a look at what will happen to Canada if the Right is not able to get rid of that pesky idea.

So RGraham666 or what ever perhaps you need to figure a country to move to. Might I suggest Somalia.

Plus, it's nice having someone from outside the country reflecting on the absurdities of life in the USA. Whining about the political direction of an incumbent who has been in office barely a month is farcical.

The thing about the playground is the toughest guy gets to dictate the rules, the rules are changing. Live with it.

As an outside observer (Misty), I had the pleasure to visit the US for five weeks a couple of years ago travelling a triangle between NYC, upper New York State and Baltimore. I've got to tell you, your infrastructure stinks in comparison with Europe. I saw highway bridges that haven't existed in Europe for decades. I travelled Interstate Highways of 1960's construction. I saw the juxtaposition of ghettos and prosperity (Baltimore & Philadelphia) that exist in Europe only in Northern Ireland.
I spend much of my time in one of Europe's poorer countries, even we have better infrastructure than the US, and we have the most advanced alternative energy programme in the world. Maybe, just maybe your President has noticed what is going on beyond your shores. I wouldn't take any of that bullshit from Canadians though

Americans are impatient and demand instant gratification, so he has little time to make something happen.

The other thing is, millions of Americans have lost their credit rating due to foreclosure and bankruptcy and unemployment. They sure wont get jobs when Obama allows GM to use the bail-out money to build new plants in Brazil, while closing 2 plants in Michigan.

So, we'll see how it goes. But I'm predicting riots sometime this year.
