In the interest of substantive comments:

As opposed to throwing fast money at the credit industry - your president is attempting to use his (as of now) tremendous popularity and political clout to ensure a forever industry in the infrastructure of America. He's trying to long term on a short term emergency

He's doing the right thing.

Spend creation money. On shit that will perpetuate useability.

He'd be an asshole to NOT push that agenda at this point (Eisenhower did it. It's not rocket science). But we're very resistant because none of us can barely look beyond our own nose - let alone consider someone elses. Which leaves us all with a head up an ass (yours).

So I guess that's what I was trying to say while medicating my hyperactive mind with numbing juice.



*And I definitely need to mention I'm a Republican who would love to have given Reagan a reach-around while he was alive. So I'm not making a politic thing here. I don't like to share. I think you should earn it or go fuck yourself (currently, I'm fucking myself plenty). At the same time, I'm well aware my country affords me every opportunity to advance. I love my country more that any personal desire. That, as our president is attempting to define - ought to be the agreeable factor within a Democrat or Republican.
