My niece and nephews received GH Rock Legends III for Xmas...plus the drum set.

We were seriously jammin' after dinner.

I haven't had that much fun since the pigs ate my little brother.

We got Rock Band - World Tour.

Guitar, microphone and drum set.

Damn.

I am so hooked.

(Luckily the kids are, too.)

It is truly family together wild fun time.

Beats the socks off playing air guitar...you're really part of the action.

Nah, I don't have a good voice. But I do understand pitch. That's enough to fool the game.

My oldest has Rock Band for PS3 including the ACDC version. My youngest has Rock Band for Wii. I'm fairly proficient and able to consistently rank in the high 90's on either game system ... on Medium.... still can't get down sliding the finger from blue to orange on difficult and higher level but we have a ball playing... crank up the volume and piss off the 70 some year old bitch living next to us.

I really want Rock Band for my kids. Hopefully some day we can get it. I think it would be a lot of fun to play.

Crim - it may be easier to just get Guitar Hero instead.

Rock Band is $200. Guitar Hero is closer to $70.00.

Unless you have someone who wants to play drum set it probably isn't worth it.

And the microphone is just karaoke stuff, really. It's just a mic that plugs into the USB port.

But yes, your kids will enjoy it.

Yeah, I know rock band is more expensive... but more can play at one time and my daughter would love the karaoke part. I'm hoping to be able to find a good deal on Rock Band one sometime on ebay or somewhere since they have now come out with Rock band 2.
