I should bump the old thread, but I'm lazy, so here's a new'un.
We had a phone call from the hospital this morning, the doctor gave my husband his test results. (please note, it gets a bit icky from here on in*L*) last week they took a scrapping of the mass up my husbands nose (ewwww) to see what it actually was.
Well, it turns out that the mass is 65% mucus, 30% mould (ewwwwwww) and who can do the maths? It's just 5% cancerous cells.
Which, as you can see, is good news. However, it also means that radiotherapy is unlikely to work on its own so surgery will be needed. This isn't as nasty as they thought it could be though as the cancer isn't as widespread as first feared.
So yay, good news
It's all your good thoughts and prayers working, I know it. Thank you!
