On a better note......the cake......oh lordy, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Absolutely scrummy. The colonials don't do christmas cake, it's kind of the booby prize christmas gift over there. Philistines. I savoured every mouthful.

You know, we don't *really* know but my husband has always had sinus problems and apparently mould likes to get in there when people have continuous problems like he has for the past 12 months or more. yeah, so the answer is we don't know. although with all the damp problems at our last house and the mould and such arisinng from that, we do have our suspicions!

Actually, it's probably a fungus. The spores are in the air we're all breathing, but don't usually cause disease. But much as it sucks to have a fungal infection, that's so much better than the alternative.
