You'd likely be better off telling your gf you're horny, and letting HER decide what, if anything, she wants to do about that. You could ask her if she'd like to help you out, and she can either participate or let you take care of yourself.

This has worked for us for a long time now, probably because it's focused on choice and being proactive, rather than expectation and being demanding.

Your idea might be more likely to work if you have an established D/s dynamic (with you in a dominant role, at least at the time) or you've agreed this type of expectation is okay beforehand, but you'd need to talk about this in advance.
