I've been a registered Republican for 28 years and I've never voted for a Democratic presidential candidate (Didn't always vote Republican, I voted for Anderson & Perot & Nader but they were independents or other party candidates).
Until Nov. 4th, 2008.
The thought of Sarah Palin being one heart beat from the presidency scared me far worse than the thought of Obama in the White House.
McCain, if you were going to run with a woman, you shoulda picked Condy.
Republican Party... Next time, pick a POPULIST, you effing morons. If you move the party any farther right you could resurrect and run Mussolini.
Not allowed to vote.
With a black guy making presidency, I think I get to feel offended now. Thanks for the second class citizenship.![]()

Would you explain this please? I truly don't understand what you are saying here.
your skin color does not mean anything when it comes to being elected president. your age does. your place of birth does. but not your skin color.
Not allowed to vote.

The election of an African-American has no bearing on your status as a non-citizen. The election of Barack Obama, the individual, may have an impact on the process by which you could become a citizen - and thereby obtain voting rights.Place of birth, as in not in US borders.
Well considering that you use to have to be a land owner, male, white, and american. In that order I get my rights next.![]()
No nations, no borders, one can dream.

The fact that you feel personally offended by the election of an African-American is your problem. Get over it, or move back to wherever the fuck you came from.
You are a young white male, non-U.S. citizen, living and studying in the U.S. - is that right? You misunderstand
Not offended because of
but offended as a result
Since blacks now have this much opportunity, lets move some attention to other victims of discrimination.
