My sister is always overly dramatic, but I think now she actually has a right to be.

It's such a horrible feeling, that intense worrying that comes from a changing financial situation, especially when you have children.

I am certain they'll weather it. But I don't wish that worry on her or on anyone.

If there's even a slight ray of sunshine in this it's probably that she has a couple of months notice to budget and prepare for this, rather than having walked in on a Friday and finding out that it's her last day, like what has happened to some.

But I doubt she changes parties--many people who don't have it even as good as she did will still identify with political groups who don't really have their interests at heart.
