So I wonder if she'll change political parties?

No, she'll blame it on you. You knew that, didn't you? It's all the Dems fault for some people, just like everything the Dems come up with is CREEPING SOCIALISM for others. Sigh!

And can we hardly wait? Hooboy! I hope my absentee ballot comes quick so I can fill it out, send it in and forget about the whole thing for the next four years . . . I hope!

:D

You're probably right.

Good thing we're so busy with the show/football/school activities for the next month or so. I already told my folks we wouldn't be able to visit them until mid-November, when things slow down.

Conveniently past the election, too. *sigh*

Blame it on the gays getting married. Conservatives always buy off on that!
It a corrupted family values thing.
LINK

I could be wealthy and dirty.

Forget wealthy.

How about comfortable and dirty.

:)
I would hope that being dirty like you is not only comfortable, but damn well worth living this life! Your sister will be fine. She and her husband have you (and your blowup-doll that they can sleep on!) Seriously, they have you, love.

Sorry to hear about your sister's situation, Sarahh. I gather that they're better off than some who are victims of the economy and will weather this easier than you or others might, but I hope things turn around for them soon.

Thank you -

My sister is always overly dramatic, but I think now she actually has a right to be.

It's such a horrible feeling, that intense worrying that comes from a changing financial situation, especially when you have children.

I am certain they'll weather it. But I don't wish that worry on her or on anyone.

If there's even a slight ray of sunshine in this it's probably that she has a couple of months notice to budget and prepare for this, rather than having walked in on a Friday and finding out that it's her last day, like what has happened to some.

She doesnt need to change parties because both parties are the same. Its an illusion of choice. Nancy Pelosi and John Kerry lost tons of money in the stock market.

I'm sorry for her sake to hear about your sister, sarahh. I reckon it will put a bit of a damper on the T-Day and Christmas holidays. But I doubt she changes parties--many people who don't have it even as good as she did will still identify with political groups who don't really have their interests at heart. Happens all the time.

And, given that no party had my best interests at heart, it really doesn't matter.

Yeah, but one of 'em's bound to be less worse than the other.

That depends on whether or not a persons ideology allows them to see reality as it truly is, or view it through the filters of fear and ignorance.

Why not widen the discussion? The economic systems of Europe are in big trouble. Particularly, England is in trouble. Apparentl, the English also overlent to 'poor people.' Now the English banks are in deep trouble with loans not being repaid.

Whose fault?

How can it be the fault of the Democrats when the Republicans have dominated the country since 1980, and controlled it since 2000?

Because it's always the Democrats fault. They serve the source of evil, Sauron.

Or is that Satan? Or maybe it's Stalin this week. They never give me a program to keep track. ;)
