Fucking hell... I have four restaurants and can only be in one of them at any given time...
So, tonight I wasn't in my Michelin Star restaurant BUT, my restaurant which I was “working” in took £5.5K...
So, is there a recession?

that's still pretty bad for a fancy london restaurant. The local one here only has 30 covers and clears £2k on a friday night and I live in the sticks.

doesn't matter how many covers you had. £5k for a restaurant on a friday night in london isn't going to cover staff, food, overheads and give much profit. Unless the restaurant is in your living room and you are cook, cleaner, waiter and washer-upper
