I had imagined the TV would focus on people of other ethnicities, to try and balance things out.

I despise everything the Republican party has come to stand for, and I blame them (you) for fucking things up royally. I plan to talk about it a lot. You're free to participate, argue, or avoid my "slams" completely. It's a free country, sad to say.
