AM Radio jazz

We have a public AM radio station here in town that goes to all jazz at night. I've come to really like having it on as background. I love jazz to begin with, but the AM mono gives it a soft, warm sound that you don't get in stereo FM. I find it's especially good background for lovemaking . I can also fantasize we're in some exotic time in the past.

Jazz is about the notes and improvisation, not about production values or sound stage, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that it sounds good in mono.

Great album. But I find it a little too hilarious for the purpose. On the other hand, the sound of no children in the house is one of the most effective, for me. Concentrates the mind wonderfully, as the fellow said.
